Yo! This overall top is everything! I can’t wear the OG overalls due to my lack in ass(ets). They tend to highlight the fact that I didn’t “get anything from my momma“. So what’s the next best thing? This top. Hallelujah. I still get a piece of the overall trend pie.
Oh, hiiiii girls! Is it me or have we recently been flooded with specialty denim? Never heard of the term? Pretty sure I just made it up. If there is an official term floating around for this new breed, please let me know. Anyways, what I’m referring to are the jeans out there that have the all the added bells and whistles…and then some! These new iterations of our cotton darlings can be frayed, patched, pom-ed, cropped, graffitied, beaded, etc. Seriously, you name it. It is denim 2.0.
Drama, drama, drama. Usually, I abhor drama, but this bow back blouse is full of it and I am in love. From the extreme shape in sleeves to the unexpected oversized bow in back, this blue piece definitely causes a scene. Of course I’m willing to accept theatrics so long as it is confined to fashion. I mean, remember this skirt? How could we so soon forget?
Good morning!!! I am so happy that Spring is here…well, it is officially next Monday, but with the gorgeous weather we’re having on top of the time change this past Sunday, it feels like we have already ushered her in. HALLELUJAH! Right now I’m in the process of putting my winter wardrobe away and pulling my spring/summer pieces out. I will be receiving this in the mail today and can’t wait to display my new spring goodies on her. I’ve always wanted a clothing rack. Is that weird?
Speaking of new spring goodies, I have noticed that mine is chock-full of off the shoulder tops and fringe pieces similar to the ones I’m wearing above. I just bought this chambray top last week and can’t wait to wear her soon! Here I’ve paired my two spring staples with some distressed boyfriend jeans to create a casual weekend look- was perfect for drinks on a patio with friends this past Saturday. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. As always, thanks for stopping by!
