I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Mine was nice and relaxing. I spent a lot of time with the boy which is my favorite. Friday we visited a new restaurant down the street, José, and loved it. If you’re in the Dallas area I highly recommend. Great Mexican food but beware of the margaritas, they’ll knock you on your ass.
We spent Saturday morning walking around Klyde Warren and Downtown. We’re making it a point to explore different neighborhoods on the weekends. It’s nice to mix things up. If you have any suggestions for us, leave them in the comments below.
Sunday we were extra lazy with a night in having drinks on the patio and Monday was for catching up on errands and blog work. I swear, that stuff never ends!
In total it was a good weekend and I hope you soaked it up as much as we did.
Definitely digging the fact that 90’s fashion is trending again. I’m falling for chokers, berry lips, slip dresses, platforms, and flannel shirts all over again. Basically everything but scrunchies. I can do without those. Lord help us all if they make a comeback.
Last week we had a “cold-front” in Dallas which brought cooler temps and loads of rain. It was very unusual considering August is typically our hottest and driest month of the year. Of course, I welcomed the fall-like weather with open arms…just like every other white girl in Dallas.
