Khaki Wide Leg Jumpsuit

Wide Leg Jumpsuit with Ruffle Detailing
I wasn’t kidding when I said one and done pieces are my go-to pieces during the summer.

The mood this time of year is care-free, and that’s exactly how I want my outfits to be.

Also, having these no-brainer outfits on deck really help with the whiplash from the never-ending, last minute invites to baby showers, graduation parties, birthday’s, and bbq’s. Anyone else in this position? Grabbing one item to create an entire outfit for these eleventh-hour requests really takes the stress level down a few notches.

All white summer outfit

Anyone else experiencing June gloom? These images are an accurate depiction of the weather we’ve been having in Dallas this month. Somber as balls.

Almost a week into June and we’ve seen nothing but gray skies and rain.

Allegedly, that will all turn around today. I’m hoping I can trust the forecast this time. We will see…

Sweetheart Neckline Blouse with Ruffle Detailing

White Blouse Ruffle Sleeves Sweetheart Cut

Hi boys and girls!

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. Mine was nice and relaxing. I spent a lot of time with the boy which is my favorite. Friday we visited a new restaurant down the street, José, and loved it. If you’re in the Dallas area I highly recommend. Great Mexican food but beware of the margaritas, they’ll knock you on your ass.

We spent Saturday morning walking around Klyde Warren and Downtown. We’re making it a point to explore different neighborhoods on the weekends. It’s nice to mix things up. If you have any suggestions for us, leave them in the comments below.

Sunday we were extra lazy with a night in having drinks on the patio and Monday was for catching up on errands and blog work. I swear, that stuff never ends!

In total it was a good weekend and I hope you soaked it up as much as we did.

Favorite self-tanner and 3 genius self-tanning hacks

white knot top bathing suit

Everyone knows the self-tanning basics.

Exfoliate prior.

Apply lotion on dry areas (elbows, knees) before application.

And use a mitt for even application.

There are several more but why discuss what we already know? Instead, let’s talk about 3 of my favorite self-tanning hacks (techniques I use on the reg) that aren’t so frequently covered. Why?

  • It’s the time of year for glowing skin.
  • Hemlines are only getting shorter and you need some color on those limbs.
  • Sun damage is not an option. Gross.
  • And because sharing is caring.

With that being said, let’s dive in to perfecting our self-tanning routines, ladies!
