3 tools for brighter eyes

This post is in collaboration with Clarins. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

3 tips for brighter eyes

Today I’m partnering with my Clarins fam to share three of my favorite tools to help make your eyes POP.

I’m all for a natural look when it comes to my makeup and genuinely believe makeup should be used to enhance your features, not cover them up.

And that’s exactly what today’s post is allll about.

Each of these products build on what the good Lord already gave you (those gorgeous sparklers of yours!) and when combined together produce a simple yet powerful doe-eyed look. Because, who doesn’t want that? Let’s hop to it!

Eyelash curler– honestly, I can’t do falsies. I gave it a go in 2015 but gave up on the facade shortly thereafter. They were a false representation of myself,  I never mastered the application, and to be frank they were annoying as F. The curler was my fallback and it has stuck around ever since. A swift curl before applying mascara makes all the difference. A far better and natural alternative to falsies.

Nude liner on your water line- for that big super-bright gaze drop the black/brown eyeliner in favor of a nude. A quick swipe on the fleshy inner rim creates the illusion of a bigger eye. Intensify the look by applying the pencil to the inner corners of the eyes and blending with your fingertip.

Clarins 3 dot liner– game changer alert! This pen has three small but mighty felt points (see image below). This three-prong tool allows for serious precision control and fills the spaces between each lash, dot-by-dot, to achieve the perfect lash line. I’ll admit it does take some practice to perfect, but the outcome is definitely worth the v small learning curve. My lashes have never looked fuller.
