Howdy! These blue stripe pants from Topshop make such a statement. I dawned these bold trousers for the 4th of July and couldn’t begin to tell you how many compliments I received! I’m really looking forward to re-styling them in the Fall. The blue hues would pair perfectly with a wine colored top. Or maybe a lace cami and black leather jacket instead. Possibilities are endless! Have a wonderful Tuesday!
You guys!!! Do you remember how I mentioned in my last post (found here) that I was planning on booking a trip soon?Well, the deed has been done! I am beyond thrilled!!! It feels as though it’s almost too good to be true, honestly. I will be boarding an airplane in two weeks for a trip to…MEXICO! Someone pinch me. Chips and salsa, margaritas, pina colada’s, the beach, exploring, and the company! Is it here yet? Anyways, hope you enjoy this look that is totally irrelevant to my vacation ramblings. Ain’t she cute doe? Now please excuse me while I watch the clock for the next fourteen days…
How awesome is this dress? She’s definitely not my usual suspect. However, I instantly fell for her. I think I was drawn to her dramatic silhouette. Her colorful stitching details don’t hurt either! I think she’d be perfectly paired with a summer adventure. Don’t you agree?
Not going to lie. I feel like I could really kick some ass in this ensemble. Less the heels of course. It may be best to substitute those with a fresh pair of Nike’s. These would do the trick. Oh yes, most definitely. Boxing gloves? Those seem fitting for the look too. Let’s go ahead and throw those in there while we are at it, shall we? Only kidding…kind of. Moving along! Have any of you taken a stab at the pajama trend?
You often see heels paired with anything and everything but shorts. Heels are regularly coupled with dresses, skirts, pantsuits, jeans, jumpsuits and culottes. I can recognize why most steer clear of partnering a pair of heels with shorts, the combination can go amiss all too quickly. Most people agree that the look is too dicey to try…even those in the fashion industry. I wholeheartedly disagree. If done correctly, the outcome can be gold. I encourage you to embrace the unlikely combination and try the pairing yourself. There are just some style rules and beliefs that are made to be broken.
